I work in oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, graphite, color pencil, and mixed media, across subjects running from portrait and figurative through landscape and animal to pure abstraction. The galleries below are sorted both ways — by medium and by subject — so the same painting may turn up in two of them. Most of the work begins with something observed; how far it travels from there varies.
